Capitalism Re-Neducation

I'm thinking it's time to put together a package of information on Austrian Economics/libertarianism/anarcho-capitalism (maybe call it market anarchism...) -- to introduce those people who might be open minded to such ideas.

Call it a Capitalism Re-Neducation Package.

It has to at least start with short, concise arguements that go to the core of every day experiences -- things we complain about all the time. For instance, the TSA. Congressman Ron Paul's articles may get a lot of space. These arguements have to be short, and easy enough to have the reader mostly convinced in a very short period of time.

Some possible articles for this could be:

  • "Cut AmTrack Off!"
  • "No more subsidies for the Airlines!"
  • "Social Security was doomed to fail!"
  • "The Fastest way to get out of Jury Duty" (I read about this thing called "jury nullification"

Then move on to slightly tougher cases to make, with longer arguements
that require a few minutes to follow --

  • "Food would still be safe without the FDA!" (drugs, too)
  • "Privatize the Roads!"
  • "Repeal The Federal Reserve Act!"
  • "The Federal Government Does NOT Have the right to regulate marijuana, medical or otherwise!" (or any other drugs. Same goes for guns.)

If the gentle reader has made it this far, it's time to hit them hard. Right in the squishy stuff between the ears. Some books would be thrown on the pile, as well.

  • "Society can exist without government!"
  • "Individual Rights lost in the War Between the States!" (or, "That guy in the bar in NOLA was right!")
  • "The Bill of Rights hurts individual rights!" (because congress doesn't pay attention to the 10th.)
  • "Gold is the only real standard for money!" (unless the Market decides Platinum or Rhodium or whatever is better)

Yes, I think this could be excellent...
