Recently in Personal Category

As I'm pretty sure everyone who reads this already knows, yea, I done gone and gotten married.

And I just kind of figured I should post something to that effect -- especially since I haven't posted much for quite a long time now.

Now it's just two weeks or so of waiting to be able to close on the house. I got an email from the Realtor last night, and the appraisal went well. The seller is apparently fixing a few little things, nothing too major(a few cracks in the driveway and such.) I just have to get homeowner's insurance on it, and then play the waiting game a bit more.

Looks like June 3, or maybe even June 1 that we'll be closing on it -- and that will be good. Keys at closing, I'm quite ready to get in there.

Immediately after we close, we'll wind up running to Minneapolis to pick up Sung's niece and brother, should be quite the crazy time. I think we'll be staying an evening at Sung's brother's friend's house (wow, that's complicated) -- which I guess is alright, but I'd really rather get back and work on our new house. If we pull it off right, though, it will give us time to move more things from K-zoo/B.C.

Over the past few days, I've actually wound up in touch with two old friends from back home. It's pretty wild, I hadn't heard from either of them in quite some time. I've also heard a bit about how two other friends are doing. I *fear* what might come with Matt(s) and the tinfoilhats set putting our minds to it, although, it's probably safer than if it were to happen a year ago.
